Major Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and executing formal software test plans for Residential HVAC systems and individual components.
Develop and implement overall software testing strategy and process for products developed in-house.
Liaison with vendors to obtain documented software test summaries/results of their products.
Coordinate and supervise in-house and third-party test resources.

Education/Experience:
BS Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 6 years experience in software testing, including writing, reviewing, and executing test plans and procedures.
Experience with automated testing in an embedded hardware environment is desired
Programming experience is a plus, especially LabView, PERL, and C/C++.
6 Sigma Green Belt Preferred.
Knowledge of HVAC controls is a plus.

Detail oriented and organized, able to prioritize work across multiple projects.
Must be a strong team player and self-starter with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Must have excellent troubleshooting techniques.
Thorough understanding of product Quality Assurance processes and their application in the software product development cycle.
Well developed verbal and written communication skills required.
Personal computer competence with MS Office products required.
